Business Advisory Services (BAS) is a domain consulting group catering to the needs of clients in Retail, Consumer Products, Transportation, and Government (RCTG) Business unit of Wipro Technologies. BAS has well recognized senior industry professionals and consultants in the group who are responsible for delivering thought leadership to Wipro's clients and help execute transformational initiatives by engaging C-level executives. BAS also interacts with the external ecosystem - analysts, academia and media. This helps the group in staying on top of the industry trends and research trends there by delivering critical and differentiating business inputs to any program that is of strategic value to Wipro's clients. We are seeking consultants at all levels, who have experience/exposure to working in a Government and or Education area. As a Consultant in the Government/Education consulting practice, you will bring in strong knowledge of the industry, process and technology solutions deployed in the industry to build, drive and realize compelling value propositions to our clients. Qualified candidates are expected to: Undertaking visioning, diagnostic and business process definition engagements, requirement gathering studies, cost of ownership and impact assessment studies to build and grow business for WiproPlay a key role in the creation of Points of View on industry and functional areas Work collaboratively with client stakeholders to define and prioritise business requirements. Undertake business analysis research, modelling, forecasting and diagnosis of business issues based upon the government process, policies and information systems. Work with the team to identify ideas and process improvement opportunities, defining change areas, defining KPIs and developing mechanisms to track and monitor benefits that align with and progress the business strategy. Assist with Request For Proposal (RFP)/Request For Quotation (RFQ) Create business requirement specifications/functional design documents as required within the project. Handle aspects of program management/project management/change management Required Skills Relevant experience of undertaking assignments (of consulting, analyst nature) in any government agency (including education sector)Thorough understanding of the consulting process, handle client meetings, draw up solution approaches, present findings and obtain client buy in of the recommended solutions Ability to communicate effectively through written, oral and visual media Sound understanding of how specific technologies and systems can be deployed to drive business value for clients Qualifications 7-10 years of relevant experience of which at least 3 years should be with a government agency or a government practice within a reputed consulting organization Ability to show expertise in process redesign and improvement Willingness to travel within Australia and if required to rest of world A degree in Business, Operations Research Government clearance would be an added advantage To apply please forward your CV through to Shelly. *Please note, only short listed candidates will be contacted.
